Cinema Boxers Puppy Placement Policy

Our contracts can be seen HERE

We at Cinema Boxers do not take the ownership of a dog lightly.
We have very strong feelings about responsible dog ownership, and breeding. We rarely have litters here, therefore, when we place our puppies we do so on contracts that protect breeder, buyer, and most importantly, the puppy.

All of our Pet Puppies are sold co-owned with Limited Registration on a spay/neuter contract.
Limited registration allows full participation in all AKC performance events but does not allow progeny to be registered. It is expected that the puppy be spayed or neutered before he/she reaches sexual maturity. We encourage Pet owners to participate in AKC Performance events such as Obedience and Agility.

We sell NO Pet Boxers for breeding purposes. If you do not show, and are simply looking for a pet to breed occasionally, do NOT bother contacting us. We do not believe in breeding strictly for pets, and will NOT allow it with any dog we have bred.

We rarely place pups as show potential - we personally evaluate any litter, and individual puppies we recommend as show potential,  and our main priority is that these puppies are companions first. As with pups placed in pet homes, we retain an interest in the dogs we place for the entire lifetime of the dog.  If you have an interest in a show potential puppy, email us and we can give information on upcoming/planned litters, our terms, and show contracts.

We feel responsible for every puppy we have bred from the time it is born, to the day it dies, so all of our puppies, pet and show are placed with a Mandatory Return policy. This means that if the puppy or adult dog  should not work out in the buyers household for any reason, be it family, health problems, allergies of the buyer or their children, divorce, moving, birth of a child, non fulfillment of contractual obligations of buyer; the puppy/adult is to be returned immediately to us with no arguments or exceptions. As well, the puppy/adult can not to be given away or sold to anyone. That includes relatives, friends, neighbors, or strangers.

We consider dogs to be family members, and NOT simply as an accessory for your home. If you do not have the time, or commitment to own a dog, a Boxer is not for you. When we place puppies, we like to get to know the family prior to placement, and we like to keep a solid relationship with the new owners throughout the dogs lifetime! If your intention is to buy a dog, and be done with the breeder, we are NOT the people to contact about a Boxer puppy!! We try and make ourselves available to the pups new owners, and to help with any questions they may have.
